S.R. Sundaram (aka Kannan Sundaram) is the Managing Director and Publisher of Kalachuvadu Publication Pvt Ltd. He co-organised ‘Tamil Ini 2000′, an international Tamil conference on 20th century Tamil writing. He has been part of the International Visitor Program to the US (2002), the Frankfurt Book Fair fellowship programme (2007), the Visiting International Publisher programme in Sydney in 2017 and the Istanbul Fellowship in 2020. He has published six Tamil books consisting of critical articles on Tamil media, publishing and politics. His English articles have been published by esteemed media outlets such as The Hindu, Economic and Political Weekly, The Indian Express and The Scroll.
